Tomales Point Trail
About 10 Miles Round Trip
Pack: food, water, personal first-aid, cell phone, light jacket
This will be “an out-and-back hike”.
Our plan will be to depart from the trailhead at 10am. It takes
about an 1:20 to get there from Santa Rosa.
Thomas’s Toughness Scale (1 easy to 7 very hard): This hike is a 3.
What makes this a hike worth the effort?
This is one of my favorite hikes in Sonoma County! For the most part we will be hiking on a ridge; to the west there are views of the Pacific coast line and to the east views of Tomales Bay. There are hundreds of Tule Elk in this area. We will be hiking at the end of the rut; the time of year that the males face-off and fight.
Bayside Outside Golf, Johan Eide leader – 9/15/2019

Family Friendly Low-Key Easy Bike Ride, Thomas Silewicz leader – 10/27
(Mostly, but not all on bike bath)
27 Miles Round Trip. We will be riding from Bayside church to Forestville.
Depart Bayside: 11:15am
We will stop in Sebastopol for lunch (buy it or pack it)
Thomas’s Toughness Scale (1 easy to 7 very hard): This ride is a 2.
For safety reason we are requiring the following:
-All riders must have helmets.
-All riders must have a cell phone.
-Pack water and fuel (food)
-All children and teens must be accompanied by an adult.
-This will be a “no drop ride”, which means we as a group wait for the slowest riders to catch up and different locations.
-This is a “no SAG support ride”, which means you much bring with you things to fix your bike if it breaks down (like getting a flat tire).
-This will be “an out-and-back ride”. We will return, retracing our same route. So, you may opt to return around early. If you do this we ask that you text the group leader.
Last Long Thanksgiving Bike Ride of the Year, Thomas Silewicz leader – 11/16
(Rain or Shine)
About 60 Miles Round Trip
Route: Esposti Park in Windsor to Lake Sonoma Overlook.

Sorry, this ride is not for beginners. We will be on narrow Sonoma County roads, some are very steep.
The ride will be a loop. Going out Westside/West Dry Creek to Lake Sonoma. Coming back via Canyon/Hwy 128/Chalk Hill.
Sorry, no SAG support.
Thomas’s Toughness Scale (1 easy to 7 very hard): This ride is a 4.
What makes this a Thanksgiving Ride?
God has richly blessed us. As a group we will stop in a few different locations and share about things we are thankful for and pray.
