We are created as relational beings. This means we naturally seek connection with others. In fact, the two greatest commandments deal with relationships. Jesus calls us, “To love God with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” and “To love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:29-30). In Adult Ministries at Redwood, we seek to provide opportunities to grow in our relationship with God and connect in meaningful community with others.

FALL CLASSES

Let’s be honest, the life you lead isn’t what you’ve always dreamt. And maybe the person you’ve become isn’t who you’ve always imagined. Sure, you can clean it up. You can work longer, love harder, and eat better. You can scrub the surface of your life until it gleams and still never address the fact that somehow you lost sight of who you really are and what you’re living for. Cost: Free Childcare provided. Click here to register for the morning study and here to register for the evening study.

At the Journey Begins Group you will begin to experience the true peace and serenity you have been seeking, restore and develop stronger relationships with others and with God, and find freedom from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. The Journey Begins Participant Guides are essential tools for the personal recovery journey. In 6 lessons, Guide 1: Stepping Out of Denial Into God’s Grace walks through the first 3 of the 8 recovery principles. Men & Women groups. Childcare available.

Paul’s Prison Letters: An Experience for Men Tuesdays at 7pm-8:30pm, Sept. 24th-Nov. 5th Bayside Santa Rosa Campus.  Feel, live, and breathe the letters that Paul wrote from prison as you hear them 1n the context of his life and work. This approach will lead you quickly through Paul’s final seven letters (Colossians, Ephesians, Philemon, Philippians, 1st Timothy, Titus, and 2nd Timothy), explaining where, when and why they were written. It will also give you a deeper and more personal understanding of what God was doing among the early communities of Jesus’ followers as well as the implications of their experience for you today. You’ll witness the dramatic story unfold of how-despite his imprisonments-Paul continued to be active in spreading the gospel, guiding and directing the work of local churches, and explaining to the wider world who Jesus is and what Jesus Christ has done. This will be an exciting fast paced journey through a significant portion of the New Testament. Led my Daniel Nichols. Cost is $10. Questions? Email DanH@Baysideonline.com
